BenQ has announced two new budget-friendly LCD monitors by launching the G925HD and G925HDA. These new 18.5-inch widescreen monitors support a native resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels and provide 200 cd/m2 brightness, 4,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 5ms response time and consume just 23W during normal operation. In terms of connectivity ports, they offer D-Sub, DVI-D (G925HD) and HDCP (G925HD). Both monitors will be available worldwide this month for $129 (G925HD) and $125 (G925HDA), respectively.
The new PK102 has some serious improvements. The contrast ratio has been doubled, for one thing, to 2000:1. Wery nice. But the big move is that it now has 4GB of on-board memory and a on-screen menu with which to navigate it.
BenQ has added a new LED display to its range by releasing the G922HDL, the world’s first 18.5-inch LED backlight LCD display. This widescreen monitor offers 1366 x 768 WXGA resolution, a dynamic contrast ratio of 5 million:1 and comes with the Eco Mode feature.
Traditionally projectors are larger devices that take up lots of room and need their own brief case for portability. Thankfully, many of the projectors coming onto the market today are compact devices that are much easier to carry and need less power.
